Inside Out: the kids movie every adult should see

 

For the past 2,500 years some of the best minds on the planet have tried to explain human emotions. Then along comes a kids movie that absolutely nails it. Inside Out takes us into the mind of 12 year old Riley, where we meet her five primary emotions, Joy, Fear, Anger, Sadness and Disgust.


As Riley struggles to adjust to a new town and a new school, we see how the different emotions drive her behaviour and decisions, often battling it out for supremacy.  

 

With great humour, sensitivity and wisdom, Inside Out explores concepts of emotions, memory and personality in a way that is simple enough for kids to understand, yet sophisticated enough to appeal to adult viewers.
